Schedule A Move Local Moving   Moves of 40 miles or less are performed at an hourly rate. Moving Within Pennsylvania (Intrastate)   Intrastate moving (moving 41 miles or more within Pennsylvania) is done on a weight basis. Customers are charged for the weight of the shipment that is being transported. Just prior to loading the shipment, the moving van will be weighed on a certified scale. Afterwards, the van and crew will report to the home to load the shipment. Once the moving van has been loaded, it will return to the certified scale and be weighed again. The difference between the “tare” (weight of the van without goods) and “gross” (weight of the loaded van) is the “net” weight of which charges are based.   In addition to moving goods, we can also provide professional packing services to protect fragile and delicate items.
